ALPHARETTA, Ga., Oct. 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For our customers along portions of the northeastern Gulf Coast that will feel the effects of Hurricane Michael, Verizon Wireless is saying “We’ve Got Your Back.” With Michael forecasted to hit portions of the northeastern Gulf Coast by Wednesday, Verizon is already committed to provide free calling, texting and data to its postpaid and prepaid customers who reside in the areas most impacted by the storm.

"We understand how important it is for our customers to stay connected every day, and even more so when severe weather strikes," said Russ Preite, president, Southeast Market for Verizon Wireless. "We hope this will alleviate one worry on the minds of those customers in Michael’s path as they undertake final preparations before the storm’s landfall.”
