Azerbaijan's Neuron Technologies company begins to integrate the "Meteosoft" automated system in the Agency on Hydrometeorology under the Kyrgyz Emergency Situations Ministry (Kyrgyzhydromet), Company head Ismayil Alakbarov told Trend on April 23.
Alakbarov said that the system will allow Kyrgyzhydromet to automatically process the information received from various services of the Agency.
"The Agency has various substructures that are engaged in weather forecasting, implementation of radiological and agrometeorological observations, etc. All information is received from different weather stations and is processed automatically. As part of the project, separate web portals are being developed, and through these portals it will be possible to manage the processes," he said.
Within the project, Neuron Technologies has already installed server systems, according to Alakbarov. Presently, the company's specialists are carrying out technical work, after which trainings on the use of the system will be conducted for the Agency's staff.
The company plans to complete the modernization of the technological infrastructure of the Kyrgyz Agency within the next few months.
Upon completion of the project, Neuron Technologies will provide technical support to Kyrgyzhydromet over the next five years.
