T-MOBILE is sending out settlement check to those affected by a 2021 data breach.
If you are a T-Mobile customer - or were one in 2021 - you may be entitled to a payout.
The Washington-based wireless network operator experienced a major data breach in 2021 affecting around 76 million customers.
This is separate from the data breach in 2022 that impacted 37 million customers.
T-Mobile denied any wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to end the lawsuit.
The lawsuit centered on a violation of a court order.

Meanwhile, individuals who didn't - regardless of whether they filed a claim - could get up to $25.
California residents, however, can receive up to $100.
However, since the $350 million settlement is being split among 76 million people, the actual payout may be closer to $4.50 per person before attorney fees are deducted.
Those who were included in the settlement should have been notified by now.
Officers and directors of T-Mobile, the presiding judge and any judicial staff involved in the lawsuit, and anyone who opted out, are all excluded from the settlement.
Individuals who filed or served a written arbitration demand or petition against T-Mobile due to the Data Breach, and those who gave written notice to T-Mobile of their intent to pursue arbitration against T-Mobile are also excluded.
Those who are unsure whether the breach impacted them can refer to the lawsuit’s FAQ section.
