Washington wildlife grant applications open to enhance viewing opportunities

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is now accepting applications for the Watchable Wildlife Grant.

This grant aims to enhance wildlife viewing opportunities and support the state’s biodiversity.

The grant supports projects that create, improve, or promote community experiences with wildlife, while also educating about responsible viewing practices.

A total of $30,000 is available, with individual grants starting at $5,000.

The application period is open through May 30.
