KOCO 5 Field Meteorologist Michael Armstrong caught a lightning show near Stratford. He saw constant lightning in the area for minutes around 5:30 a.m. The storms also brought hail to Oklahoma. KOCO 5 viewers shared pictures of hailstones in Seminole County as well as in Texanna near Lake Eufaula. It'll still be raining in the late morning and early afternoon, but storms won't be as strong by noon.KOCO 5 Meteorologist Jonathan Conder says rain will move east of Interstate 35 by 3 p.m. Friday and into far eastern Oklahoma by 5 p.m. There's also a level 4 severe weather risk that clips far southeastern Oklahoma in McCurtain County, and the severe storm risk lowers as you go farther northwest and toward the OKC metro.That level 4 risk brings a big tornado threat throughout Arkansas and in northeastern Texas as well as southwestern Missouri.
