The fun new graphics include an exhausted face with bags under its eyes, a blue fingerprint and purple splatter, according to a social media post shared Monday, March 31, by Apple Hub.
The new release also includes a shovel, a tree without leaves, a harp, what appears to be a single radish and the flag of Sark, which is a self-governing island in the Channel Islands.
Fans weighed in on the emoji rollout.
“I'm still saying that this will be the most used emoji of the year,” one person tweeted, referring to the tired face.
Others were not as impressed with the selection, offering up a dose of sarcasm.

“Definitely needed that Beetroot one !! Life has been unfulfilling without it,” one social media user wrote. Another added, “FINALLY a turnip.”
Past emoji updates have included a plain bagel upgraded to one with cream cheese, as well as a pregnant man for inclusive additions to represent transgender pregnancies.
When the breakfast option was added, it caught the attention of a popular cream cheese company.
“Hooray! Bagel lovers everywhere united and convinced @Apple to turn the plain #SadBagel into a delicious #HappyBagel and we are celebrating,” Philadelphia Cream Cheese’s official social media account shared in October 2018.
