AEP shutting off service at East Ohio Regional Hospital

MARTINS FERRY, Ohio — AEP Ohio confirmed to NEWS9 that electric service was disconnected to East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry on Tuesday.

The company said that the largest electrical accounts for the hospital are past due for a year.

Service was reconnected to allow the building to be vacated, but AEP Ohio plans to indefinitely disconnect service on Wednesday.
