South Mississippi residents head to the polls

Gulfport, Miss (WXXV)- Municipal primary elections are happening right now.

These elections are determining party nominees for positions such as mayors, city council members, and alderman. They will then compete in the general election on June 3rd.

Any voter in line at 7 PM is legally entitled to cast a ballot.

WXXV News 25 caught up with voters at the Lyman Community Center to hear from them after heading to the polls.
