LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Get on track for some family fun this Friday with the Kentucky Derby Festival's FamFest. 

The Caesars Foundation of Floyd County FamFest Presented by Wellstone Regional Hospital has something for the whole family with indoor and outdoor activities at the YMCA at 33 State Street in New Albany.

The fun starts at 4 p.m. and continues through 8 p.m., according to a news release from KDF officials. 

"We're fortunate to have fans on both sides of the river and look forward to bringing the Kentucky Derby Festival to Southern Indiana," Matt Gibson, Kentucky Derby Festival President & CEO said in a written statement. "FamFest helps us kick off April and the Festival season with a Friday evening of family-friendly fun!"

Families will have a chance to meet members of the 2025 Royal Court and get their autographs, as well as enjoy live entertainment. Food trucks will be onsite, including Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, Kona Ice and Floyd County Brewing Company.

  • Playground Inflatables (including a slide, bounce house, connect four basketball and a run obstacle)

  • Louisville One Volleyball (LOVB)

  • Cotton Candy Art
  • Interactive Displays

Participants will also receive a custom FamFest event pin (while supplies last) that offers entry to Pin-admission events during the 2025 Derby Festival.
