AMES – Iowa State’s doubleheader against South Dakota State, originally set for Tuesday, has been postponed due to expected cold and rainy conditions, along with residual rain and snow from the past two nights.
The games have been rescheduled for April 21, with first pitch still set for 1 p.m., followed by game two approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.
With the schedule change, the Cyclones will now play six games in the span of a week from April 21 to 27.
With no midweek non-conference matchup, Iowa State will shift its focus to its fourth Big 12 series of the season, as it hosts BYU at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The three-game series begins at 4 p.m. Thursday.
