A MOTHER and son acting duo from Dudley have achived international success together with their film starring a former Premier League manager.

Rita and Reece Jagpal-Mohan won an award at The North Film Festival in New York.

Their film, Wheel Gone Kid 4: Crash Course, was the only UK entry to win an award at the festival.

Reece, aged 10, who stars in the Wheel Gone Kid series, also had the honour of cutting the ribbon at the festival's official opening ceremony.

The Sandwell-born youngster and his mother, Rita, who has transitioned from being a hairdresser to an actress, have previously won awards in Hollywood and Barcelona.

The Wheel Gone Kid series has been well-received at film festivals worldwide.

Wheel Gone Kid 2 won Best Series at the Love and Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona.

The latest film, Wheel Gone Kid 4: Crash Course, continues the series' success.

The duo visited New York for the worldwide premiere of their latest film, which also features legendary football manager Neil Warnock playing the role of a Chief Police Inspector.

The film completed a prestigious overseas treble by winning the festival's Best Web-Series award, adding to their previous in-person wins in Hollywood and Barcelona.

The festival is held at the Producers Club, just off Times Square.
