LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim of a fatal shooting at the Aliante Casino as Na’Onche Osborne, a 23-year-old man from North Las Vegas. His death has been ruled a homicide.
The North Las Vegas Police Department is actively investigating the incident, which occurred in the 7300 block of North Aliante Boulevard on March 27.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 4:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found Osborne, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Osborne was the adoptive son of former Nevada State Senator Pat Spearman.
He was arrested in November of 2022 for a shooting that occurred in her home involving her nephew.
Osborne was sentenced to 364 days with a credit of 204 days for time served.
According to police, the suspect fled before officers arrived.
Information about the incident and the suspect's possible direction of travel was shared with surrounding jurisdictions.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department later located the primary suspect, 19-year-old Aerion Warmsley, and took him into custody following a lengthy pursuit.
During that pursuit, LVMPD alleged Warmsley carjacked three people before he was taken into custody.
Warmsley was arrested in connection with the shooting at Aliante Casino.
He is being held at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center without bail.
