iPhone SE 4 rumoured specifications

According to the latest insights from prominent Apple analyst Nguyen Phi Hung, Apple will offer a bunch of new upgrades with the new iPhone SE 4.

First talking about the design, Hung suggests SE 4 will sport a 148.5 x 71.2 x 7.8mm frame, weighing approximately 166g. It is rumoured to feature a 7000 series aluminium alloy frame with a right-angled design, along with front and rear glass panels. The front design may resemble that of the iPhone 13, potentially supporting Face ID, while the rear might resemble the iPhone Xr, housing a single camera.

On the front, the display is speculated to be a 6.1" LTPS OLED panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

In terms of camera specifications, SE 4 might include an IMX503 sensor with a 1/2.55" size and an f/1.8 aperture. The camera setup is said to support various features such as 1080p cinematic mode, deep fusion, smart HDR, AI photography, and portrait mode, but night mode support may be absent.

Under the hood, the iPhone SE 4 is speculated to have an Apple A16 Bionic chipset, a Snapdragon X70 modem, and an Apple U1 UWB chip. Memory options may include 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with either 128GB or 512GB of NVMe flash storage.

Connectivity options may include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C connector with 2.0 speeds. The battery is rumoured to have a capacity of around 3000 mAh, with some sources suggesting 3279 mAh. Charging capabilities may include 20W wired charging and 12W wireless charging, possibly supporting MagSafe.

Notably, this report aligns with previous reports by other analysts, including tipster Majin Bu who, in his post on the platform X (previously known as Twitter), suggested that the affordable iPhone model is expected to feature MagSafe wireless charging capabilities and boast a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD resolution.
