If you love to ski but have kids and think it can get too pricy, there's an alternative to help cut those costs.

The Ski Idaho Passport allows people to apply for fifth or sixth graders to pay $18 for a season pass. The pass allows sixth-graders two free days at 17 participating ski mountains and gives fifth-graders three free days at all 18 participating locations.
