The construction dates of Bosanka, a large fruit and vegetable processing factory in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is worth over $17 million (30 million convertible marks of Bosnia and Herzegovina), has been extended for the next two years, Trend reports via Sarajevo Times.
Suad Suljic, the lawyer of the Azerbaijani company Benkons-Bosna LLC, which is engaged in construction, said that an additional agreement was reached to extend the construction of the factory.
The decision to extend the construction was also agreed and approved by the city administration.
Despite the fact that the ceremony of laying the foundation of the factory took place in 2014, construction was suspended due to the receipt of the necessary construction permits, and the construction of the enterprise on the territory of military barracks. After the town council made changes to the regulatory plan, in the same year, flooding occurred.
The lawyer expects that the construction will continue after signing the contract.
Benkons-Bosna LLC is part of the holding Benkons Group, carrying out projects in construction, imports and investments in various directions. Particularly, Benkons Import is a major importer of consumer goods. Since 2011, the company is a strategic partner of PepsiCo International.
