WAYCROSS, Ga. – Various contraband was discovered during a prison shakedown Wednesday, officials with the Georgia Department of Corrections said.
Correctional officers at Ware State Prison were conducting the shakedown about 9:30 a.m. and noticed something strange about a bag of cabbage.

Officers found hollowed cabbages containing two vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana, two plastic-wrapped bags of tobacco, eight plastic-wrapped touchscreen cellphones, two wrapped bags of cellphone chargers, six flip cellphones and a bag of headsets.
