NBA free agency tracker, trade rumors: Clint Capela re-signs with Rockets on 5-year, $90 million deal

The NBA's summer season is underway and the free agency dominoes began to fall with LeBron James agreeing to join the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $154 million deal and a slew of NBA veterans joining him.

Here's the latest with free agency news, rumors and signings:

* Restricted free agent Clint Capela is remaining with the Houston Rockets on a five-year deal worth $90 million, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward Kevin Love to a four-year, $120 million extension.

* Dirk Nowitzki is returning to the Dallas Mavericks for his 21st NBA season on a one-year, $5 million deal.

* Montrezl Harrell is re-signing with the LA Clippers on a two-year, $12 million deal.

* The Sacramento Kings added Nemanja Bjelica (three years, $20.5 million) and Yogi Farrell (two years, $6.2 million).

* Restricted free agent Marcus Smart re-upped with the Boston Celtics on a four-year, $52 million deal.

* Former Phoenix Suns center Alex Len is joining the Atlanta Hawks on a two-year, $8.5 million deal.

* Free agent forward Michael Beasley is joining LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on a one-year, $3.5 million deal, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.

* The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded forward Carmelo Anthony to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for guard Dennis Schroder, Mike Muscala and a first round pick, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Melo will be waived by the Hawks and plans to join a championship contender before the season begins.

* The Kawhi Leonard trade saga continued this week when the disgruntled forward was traded from the Spurs to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for guard Demar DeRozan.

* The Sacramento Kings have traded guard Garrett Temple to the Memphis Grizzlies for guard Ben McLemore, forward Deyonta Davis, a 2021 second-round draft pick and cash, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Free agent forward Dante Cunningham has agreed to a one-year deal deal with the San Antonio Spurs, per Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.

* Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Shabazz Napier is joining former teammates Ed Davis and Allen Crabbe in Brooklyn after signing a two-year deal with the Nets (the second year is a team option), reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* The Bulls signed free agent forward and Chicago native Jabari Parker to a two-year, $40 million deal with the second year a team option, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Channing Frye is headed back to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a one-year, $2.4 million deal.

* Timberwolves wing Jimmy Butler has reportedly turned down a contract extension offer in the four-year, $110 million range, according to Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN in Minnesota. Butler, who came to the Timberwolves from the Chicago Bulls in a trade during the 2017 NBA draft, is rumored to be unhappy with his situation in Minnesota. The 28-year-old has one year and $19.8 million left on his current deal (with a player option for the following season) and can become a free agent in the summer of 2019.

* Free agent guard Isaiah Thomas is joining the Denver Nuggets on a 1-year deal worth $2 million, as first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* In a separate move Thursday, the Denver Nuggets shed $21 million in salary by sending Kenneth Faried Darrell Arthur, along with a a 2019 protected first-round pick and a 2020 second-round pick, to the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* The Atlanta Hawks acquired point guard Jeremy Lin from the Brooklyn Nets, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Wayne Ellington is returning to the Miami Heat on a one-year, $6.27 million deal, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.

* The Oklahoma City Thunder have granted Carmelo Anthony permission to meet with the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat, signaling an "inevitable - if not imminent - parting" between the two sides, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

* Clint Capela and the Houston Rockets remain a ways apart on a new deal, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon, who reports the center is seeking a deal in the four-year, $100 million range.

* The Houston Rockets "are determined" to sign Carmelo Anthony once he becomes a free agent, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* After one season with the Houston Rockets, forward Luc Mbah a Moute is headed back to Los Angeles after agreeing to a one-year, $4.3 million deal with the Clippers, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard shot down rampant trade speculation and rumors of his unhappiness in Portland Sunday, telling reporters at Las Vegas Summer League: "I'm not unhappy. I love where I live. I love the organization. I love our coaching staff. I love where I am."

* Jusuf Nurkic re-signed with the Portland Trail Blazers with a four-year, $48 million deal.

* After spending the 17 years with the San Antonio Spurs, Tony Parker has signed a two-year, $10 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets.

* The Chicago Bulls matched the four-year, $78 million offer sheet for Zach Lavine from the Sacramento Kings.

* After a buyout from the Brooklyn Nets, center Dwight Howard will sign a two-year, $11 million deal with the Washington Wizards, according to multiple reports.

* The Indiana Pacers signed center Kyle O'Quinn to a one-year, $4.5 million deal.

* The Phoenix Suns have locked up Devin Booker with a a five-year, $158 million maximum contract extension.

* After being released by the Utah Jazz, forward Jonas Jerebko will join the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Restricted free agent Kyle Anderson will join the Memphis Grizzlies after the San Antonio Spurs declined to match a four-year, $37 million deal, per ESPN.

* Center Brook Lopez will join the Milwaukee Bucks on a one-year, $3.4 million deal, reports ESPN's Chris Haynes.

* Center Zaza Pachulia is joining the Detroit Pistons on a one-year, $2.4 million contract.

Carmelo Anthony is reportedly on his way out of Oklahoma City as the Thunder explore their options either through a trade or a buyout agreement and by using the stretch provision to save money on the stiff luxury tax penalty they are expected to incur.

* Chris Sheridan, a veteran NBA reporter who has covered the league for the AP and ESPN, is reporting the Lakers are considering several blockbuster trade options, including a possible deal with the Blazers involving Damian Lillard. More from Sheridan:

* ESPN's Chris Haynes is reporting the Trail Blazers were discussing a sign-and-trade with New Orleans involving Jusuf Nurkic and DeMarcus Cousins. According to Haynes the talks broke down because Cousins and Nurkic share the same agent.

* The Portland Trail Blazers will sign Seth Curry to a two-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The second year of the deal will be a player option and the first year pays Curry $2.75 million.

* DeMarcus Cousins has agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors, according Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports. The defending-champion Warriors will be adding one of the best big men in the league on a team-friendly deal after many expected Cousins to sign a much larger contract elsewhere. The deal is reportedly a 1-year contract for $5.3 million. Golden State officially has the most talented roster in NBA history.

* LeBron James has agreed to a 4-year, $154 million deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers.

Mario Hezonja has opted to sign with the New York Knicks after a really tough recruitment from several interested teams. The Knicks beat out the Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies who all came with competitive offers.

* Unrestricted free agent Ed Davis has agreed to a one-year, $4.4 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

* The Trail Blazers have will sign wing Nik Stauskas to a 1-year deal.

* Jimmy Butler is reportedly looking for a way out of Minnesota. The Timberwolves two-way star is apparently fed up with "Karl-Anthony Town and his younger teammates who he feels simply don't have the same competitive drive that Butler feels is necessary to contend in the NBA. Butler reportedly wants to team up with Kyrie Irving on an Eastern Conference team, but if other NBA teams comes calling and the Timberwolves are willing to make a trade, Butler could be moving on sooner rather than later.

* The Utah Jazz have re-signed both Raul Neto and Dante Exum to new contracts. Neto is back on a two-year deal while Exum will make $33 million over three years.

* The Philadelphia 76ers are very close to landing forward Wilson Chandler in a trade with the Denver Nuggets. The 76ers have the cap space to absorb his contract and Chandler would be a significant upgrade to Philadelphia at small forward.

* Free agent guard Tyreke Evans is signing a 1-year deal with the Indiana Pacers after putting up solid numbers in Memphis last season. The deal is reportedly worth $12 million.

* The Washington Wizards are adding veteran forward Jeff Green to their team on a 1-year, $2.5 million deal.

Michael Carter-Williams has reached a 1-year deal with the Houston Rockets, for what will reportedly be the veteran's minimum.

* Avery Bradley is re-signing with the LA Clippers on a two-year, $25 million deal.

Rajon Rondo is signing a 1-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers as the the Lakers and LeBron James add the first big piece to their new team out west. The Lakers have also added Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee to their roster.

* The Lakers have renounced the rights to forward Julius Randle, making him an unrestricted free agent. Randle was only on the free agent market for a few hours though before deciding to sign a two-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. The second year will be a player option as Randle bets on himself to earn a big payday next summer.

* Center Nerlens Noel is leaving the Dallas Mavericks to sign for the veterans minimum with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Noel took considerably less on a 2-year deal than he could have made with the other teams recruiting him in the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers. Year two will be a player option for Noel.

* The Indiana Pacers have released forward Al Jefferson. The veteran should attract plenty of interest from teams looking to add a competent front court scorer.

* Restricted free agent Aaron Gordon is inking a 4-year deal to remain with the Orlando Magic.

* Utah Jazz big man Derrick Favors is returning to Utah on a 2-year deal.

* After a solid year in Philadelphia, sharp-shooter JJ Redick is returning to the 76ers on a 1-year deal.

* Elfrid Payton is joining the New Orleans Pelicans on a 1-year deal.

* Unrestricted free agent Paul George has agreed to re-sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder on a four-year, $137 million max contract with a player option for the final year, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski

* Unrestricted free agent DeAndre Jordan has agreed to sign a one-year, $24.1 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks, reports Marc Stein of the New York Times

* Unrestricted free agent Chris Paul has agreed to a new four-year, $160 million deal with the Houston Rockets, per USA Today and ESPN

* Unrestricted free agent Kevin Durant will re-sign the the Golden State Warriors on a two-year, $61.5 million deal with a player option for the second year, according to Stein

* Unrestricted free agent Will Barton has spurned the Indiana Pacers and agreed to a new four-year, $54 million deal with the Denver Nuggets, per ESPN's Chris Haynes

* Derrick Rose will return to the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year deal, per Wojnarowski

* Jerami Grant has agree to a three-year, $27 million deal to remain with the Oklahoma City Thunder, reports Wojnarowski

* Unrestricted free agent Doug McDermott has agreed to a three year, $22 million deal with the Indiana Pacers, according to Wojnarowski

* Unrestricted free agent Aron Baynes will re-sign with the Boston Celtics on a two-year deal worth $11 million with a player option for Year 2, per Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports

* Unrestricted free agent Ersan Ilyasova has agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Wojnarowski

* Marco Belinelli will reunite with the San Antonio Spurs on a two-year, $12 million deal, reports Wojnarowski

* Omri Casspi and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed on a one-year deal, per Wojnarowski

* Gerald Green will return to the Houston Rockets on a one year deal worth $2.4 million, reports Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports
