Silver alert issued for 89-year-old Pittsboro man
A Silver Alert was issued Thursday night for a 89-year-old Pittsboro man.

Authorities said Joseph W. Walker, who is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment, was last seen at 2235 Hanks Chapel Road in Pittsboro.
Walker is described as having burgandy hair, 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve shirt, black jeans, blue tennis shoes and red suspenders. He has a cell phone and black travel bag.
He could be driving a 2017 Dodge Ram with the NC license plate BED2893.
