Louisiana College to honor Prof. George Hearn

Louisiana College will honor long-time professor, the late Dr. George E. Hearn, in a tree-planting ceremony in front of Alexandria Hall on January 26 at 11 am.
Hearn retired in 2000 from Louisiana College after a 35-year professorial stint. He served as professor and chair of the Psychology Department and was well loved by students and colleagues alike.
The civic-minded Hearn was a two-term member of the Pineville City Council under then-Mayor Fred H. Baden.
Hearn leaves behind a lifetime legacy of learning, teaching and serving.
The public is invited to attend the Hearn Twin Oak tree-planting ceremony.
