Kanye West faced a lot of criticism after announcing his Yeezy Porn business, with one adult star urging the rapper to "stick to what you're good at".

The 46-year-old teased the launch of his pornography business last month, with it reported he would be teaming up with Stormy Daniels' ex-husband Mike Moz. However, not everyone has been happy with Kanye's announcement and there were rumours he would be scrapping the project.

Amid the uncertainty, porn star John Legendary has encouraged Kanye to stick to producing and designing. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, John suggested Kanye will remain "behind-the-scenes" if his Yeezy Porn idea goes ahead.

John said: "Of course he may be in some promo stuff, but I don't see him being a performer. He's a visionary and it's like, stick to what you're good at.

"You're good at producing, you're good at being a visionary, you're good at design and dreaming. I wouldn't necessarily think he would need to perform because it just wouldn't make sense." John also believes Kanye's wife Bianca Censori could get involved in some of the promotional shots for the project.

While some have criticised Kanye's Yeezy Porn announcement, John believes it could be a good move for the adult entertainment industry. The actor explained: "If it is actual porn, then I think it could be a good thing. Because a lot of consumers for porn don't pay.

"They go straight to the free porn sites and just consume their 10/15 minutes for free and that doesn't support studios, or creators like OnlyFans and what not. So I feel like if Yeezy were to create actual adult pornography where people had to purchase it, maybe that will have a snowball effect in saying, 'Well yeah, you do have to buy porn' and then maybe content creators or independent studios and performers might see an increase in revenue."

However, John had some reservations about Kanye's involvement in the adult entertainment industry following his previous comments about being addict to sex and pornography. He explained: "I'm more nervous for him.

"I read that he's admitted that porn affected almost every choice that he made for the rest of his life since he was like five years old since he first saw his dad's Playboy magazine. He also mentioned something about Hollywood being a brothel.

"So he's been very vocal about pornography and the harm that it's done in our society and the harm that it's done to his personal life. So it's catching me off guard to have him speak about wanting to do some type of venture within the adult industry."

John's concerns come following reports Kanye might have to put his Yeezy Porn plans on the backfoot. The rapper's chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos has stood against the adult film idea.

In an email believed to be from Milo, which has been shared on X, he said: "I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons. But also because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual."
